A NEW WEBSITE FOR POLICYDOCK
Digital insurance innovator PolicyDock has found breakout success helping legacy insurance companies transition to a digital, cloud-based future. When the company website needed an overhaul, PolicyDock CEO Roger Ying asked Otto to write a website showcasing the latest features targeted at the most important customer segments.
BACKGROUND
Like so many other startups, PolicyDock grew and adapted as its product found traction in the marketplace. Some features were discarded while others resonated with customers and were further developed. With strong product-market fit, enthusiastic customers, and substantial funding in place, the company needed a website that captured the new direction and the full breadth of the solution to multiple market verticals.
THE PROCESS
Insurance is an enormous market with distinct verticals including insurers, brokers, and data providers. The project began with in-depth fact-finding to establish a prioritized list of features most relevant to each PolicyDock customer segment. Descriptions and text had to be carefully calibrated to appeal to legacy industry participants that traditionally have struggled with technology upgrades.
THE RESULT
We identified three key customer segments and created targeted pages for each. A technology overview, About Us page, and a completely fresh new graphics package completed the new site.
